Westover – Federal Employee Appreciation Day

As you know, the Westover community has been deeply affected by the recent downsizing of the federal workforce.  The Westover Farmers Market is holding Federal Employee Appreciation Day on Sunday, April 27 to show support for our friends and neighbors who have either been let go or are at risk, and let you know how much we appreciate all that you do. Â
Present you federal ID at the market tent (near the Westover Library) and you’ll receive a hand stamp which will identify you to participating vendors, who will be offering special discounts or other gifts in kind. A list of participating vendors will be available at the market tent. Â
