AFAC is 94% privately funded – every dollar you donate makes it possible for us to buy groceries for the many families who come to our doors weekly.

AFAC volunteers donate 44,000 hours of their time each year, the equivalent of 21 full-time employees. Come be a part of our mission.

40% of the food we distribute is donated by people like you through local food drives, providing families in need with variety and choice.

Field to Table is committed to addressing food insecurity in Arlington, and we’re proud to have supported AFAC through the years by way of an annual $10,000 gift, as well as food and fund drives at our four farmers markets

Since our inception, AFAC has sent volunteers to Field to Table markets for weekly pick-ups of donated produce from farm vendors and nonperishable foods donated by market customers. Our markets donate thousands of pounds of freshly harvested fruits and vegetables, which are immediately distributed to Arlington residents experiencing food insecurity. You can be a part of this by donating at all of our markets weekly! Grab a few extra items if you can, and drop them off at the market tent.
