History
Lubber Run Farmers Market (LRFM), a third of Field to Table’s family of markets, was founded in close collaboration with the Arlington Forest Citizens Association (AFCA). After a thorough research and community engagement process led by Field to Table and a dedicated group of volunteers, AFCA members approved the market’s establishment in February 2018, and it officially launched with 10 vendors on May 26, 2018.
Since that time, LRFM has doubled in size and become a beloved community gathering place, drawing hundreds of weekly visitors with its warm and friendly atmosphere and exciting range of tasty offerings. As a local, producer-only market, everyone who sells at our market grows, raises, bakes, cooks, or prepares the food themselves. And it’s all done within 125 miles of Arlington!
